Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Laocai 

Picked up at your hotel and transferred to Hanoi Railway Station for the 9:30 PM train to Lao Cai Station. Overnight on train. ( 4 berth soft sleeper A/C cabin )

Day 2: Laocai - Sapa - Cat Cat village - Lao Chai - Tavan Village 

Trek: 6 hours/17 km/3 villages

Met and greeted at Lao Cai Station by our guide and driver early in the morning then transferred to Sapa. 8.00, have breakfast in Sapa. Start at 11: 00 AM on a jeep to the Black H'mong Village of Cat Cat, wander around chatting with the villagers and see the hydroelectric power station built by the French when they first discovered Sapa. Take the beaten paths in the bottom of the valleys to Lao Chai village while enjoy sublime beauty of of the villages among terraces. Visit the H'mong's wooden and bamboo houses. Continue trekking to Ta Van village to visit the Dzay ethnic minority. Spend the night in Tavan village at a Dzay home. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner with your hosts. Overnight at Tavan village.

Day 3: Tavan - Giang Ta Chai 

Trek: 5 hours/14 km/2 villages

Get up early in the morning(if you like to) to see how your dedicated hosts prepare breakfast for you. Afte having breakfast, make your way through bamboo forests, over terraced paddy field to get to the Red Dzao ethnic group village of Giang Ta Chai. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, talk with the people in the village and then cross over Muong Hoa River, climbing up to visit the last village of the journey - H'mongs' Supan Village. Back to Sapa by jeep. Stop en route to see the celebrated mysterious ancient stone circle that challenges many scientists all over the world. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa - Laocai - Hanoi 

Breakfast, free to explore the Sapa Town. Lunch and check out hotel. Free in the afternoon till transferred to Lao Cai Station for night train back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi around 4.30 AM. Tour comes to an end.

Note: We will stay at clean local hotels with good location, that is easy access to city central, dining area, and favorite hangouts. While our emphasis is not on luxury accommodation, we can upgrade or downgrade the lodging upon your request
